About Oyije

Born Deborah Onuh, Oyije for Africa as she is popularly called, is a fashionable singer and songwriter with a contagious passion. She hails from Benue state, Nigeria and was raised in a typical Christian home. Her now colorful musical career has its roots in childhood choir days; Oyije represents Africa in everything she does, from her style to her music and mannerism.

In 2015, she dropped her first single "Suicide," however, her musical career truly took off when she released her hit debut EP, "DAWN." She is a Lamb Culture-managed artist who isn't just a songwriter but also an admirable representation of the possibilities that exist for women in the industry.

Through her typical African style, music and personal event "The Oyije Story" (exclusively for young women), this energetic, ever-blazing artist shares her story and faith with thousands who relate to her journey, impacting lives beyond music.

Oyije's remarkable discography includes tracks like "All Day All Night", "Cover Me", "Commando", and her latest, "Again". At the heart of Oyije's artistry is a profound message of hope rooted in divine purpose and strength.
